I would never recommend this gym to anyone. It’s not worth the money to join, originally the membership was $30 but because of covid-19 they jacked up the price to over $50 a month. I understand the situation but raising the membership like they did with no notice was just wrong. When I canceled they did not advise me I would still get charged an additional months membership. The TVs on the machine never worked, machines didn’t work properly, and so much more. I have always supported family owned businesses but I would highly recommend going to a gym franchise and saving yourself the money and not wasting your time. I was a member at this gym for over 10 years and I will never go back. Especially after talking on the phone with one their associates and them hanging up on me mid conversation. They only care about the money.

So disappointed with the unprofessionalism of the management. Without any notice of reopening, they slyly charged my debit card for the monthly fee of $33 in September. In October, they increased their fee without notifying me and charged me $53. I went to cancel my membership on Nov. 2 in person and I had to fill out a simple form. But..not without the front desk person reminding me that since i didn't give 30 days notice (it was 29) i would still be charged $53 for December. I decided not to get upset and I'm just happy to be done with their scam.nI understand that times are very tough for most of us, but this is no way to treat your loyal customers or anyone for that matter.

Updated post: Post was updated due to changes. Music has gotten much better it’s more of today’s hits and music for the younger crowd which is great cause it gives more hype and motivation to work out. Very family feeling environment, after being being for almost 4 years I feel at home and know everyone who goes here. The owners are friendly and the employees especially the maintenance team are great and always happy. The gym is kept very clean which is a huge plus and also with the wall knocked down there is way more space. The $50 price per month is a bit high but is worth it for the cleanliness and the amount of equipment. You don’t have to fight for a machine lol. I wish the equipment would be updated to newer and better equipment but I’m sure down the road that will happen.

The treatment I got from this gym staff is so unprofessional. First, in March when the state was under lock down they charged me for the month even though the gym was closed and they never refunded the money after. Then, after they opened, out of nowhere they raised the price from 33 to 53 without any notice, call, or email and when I called to complain they said that I agreed to these terms in the contract. The right way to deal with your customers is to offer the old price and then tell them the price is going to change next month If you don’t feel comfortable you can cancel but instead they gave me a trash treatment and hung up the phone.

Maybe a change of management would be beneficial to your company, they did not want to except the fact that there is no need for a membership fee to charge their customers when the gym was closed due to the Covid pandemic. I disputed it and they threaten me with lawyers, and that’s OK but the way that they handled the situation in the way that they spoke to their customers is completely unprofessional they need to go back to school and maybe take a management course or a customer service course for their own sake. I want to go cancel my membership and they charge me $139 when all they owed was $31 for the last month off membership to me the monies not the issue but it’s more of the principlennI don’t have a big mouth like they do but one thing I can do to their business is damage it I don’t have to tell them who I know or that I’m involved in Saddlebrook municipality
