Elia Mediterranean Restaurant

I had a arranged a surprise birthday party for my wife at Elia.. We had an amazing time!! We sat outside under the tent and enjoyed a beautiful ambiance... We actually made the trip from Long Island because we heard that the place was amazing.. We were pleasantly surprised! The appetizers were perfect and delicious! A must try app is the Calamari and Tuna Tartar...The entrees were even better!! My wife had the Black Sea bass and I had the Porterhouse.. The fish was fresh and the steak was as good as any steak house in Manhattan..The service was on point!! After dinner we moved inside and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar with a very chill and up beat environment.. They had a DJ that night and the vibe was awesome!! This place is hands down one of my favorite new spots! For me it’s worth every penny!! A definite must try!!!

I have eaten at a lot of upscale restaurants in NJ; and this place is by far my favorite! The servers are very attentive, the decor is beautiful, and the most important part...the food and drinks were incredible. Everything is fresh as can be, tasty and presented beautifully. I love how unique their menu and presentation is. The drinks are also delicious and not watered down. Thanks for a great experience! I can't stop coming back :)

Our server Adam was unreal. This was our first time dining at Elia and definitely not our last. I was so impressed with the service, the recommendations, everything. In this crazy time it’s been very hard to find a place where the service and the food are both on point. Elia delivered and then some. Thank you for an amazing experience and I can’t wait until the next time we return.

The place is just absolutely amazing. It joined the list of my favorite places. They did such a great job with the outdoor decorations. The food is unbelievable, especially Tuna Tartare.(I ordered it twice). I loved the music..finally we found a place with the good song selection. The crowd is classy and elegant. And special shout out to the wait staff, they were very attentive, polite with positive energy. We are pleased!

While the food is usually quite pleasant, I rated Elia a 2 for my experience. I arrived with my party for a 630 reservation. I had made this reservation well over a week in advance and was told yes, we can be seated outside. I Don't recall his name, but a tall man w/ dark hair unbelievably rude, indicated to me that I was told there's no garantee I would be seated outside when I made the reservation. That was absolutely not true. He said, how about seeing the table inside before you get upset. Who speaks like that to guests? However, interestingly enough, a younger couple arrived right behind us, asked for a table outside and we're instantly seated no commentary. What???? There were many empty tables. Possibly 8 of which were filled. It was 630pm. I have eaten here 5 times and have never been treated so rudely. Frankly, it felt discriminatory.nI was here about a month ago with 6 female friends and we were treated very differently. I will say, the wait staff was friendly, andnWell mannered, unlike the man at the desk who had no manners. The food was enjoyable except for the scallops which were slightly undercooked. I have a successful business. I treat every client who is either dressed impeccably or simply casual, seasoned or up and coming, as if they were the most important person who walked through the door. Work on your customer service. It's like having a bad cup of coffee at the end of a meal, Its the thing you carry away with you.
