HORRIBLE SERVICE!! My GRANDDAUGHTER had her car towed there for an overheating issue and it took several weeks before there was a preliminary diagnosis. #1. They did not call her to let her know, she had to keep calling them. #2. They diagnosed the issue was an intake manifold leak and would need to have manifold replaced with an updated one with metal elbows instead of the old style plastic type. They were told to proceed and they told her they had to order the parts. #3. After a few more weeks again they did not call her and she had to call them to find out what was happening with her car. #4. They told her they were trying to get it started but it seemed like there was no compression. At that point I spoke with Dan and he told me they had pulled the Spark Plugs and put some oil down the cylinders to try to build up the compression. ( Not A Proper Diagnosis ) At this point it took a few more days to get it running and they said it was running good and not overheating or getting any smoke out the tail pipe. After a couple weeks the Check Engine Light came on and she was going to take it back but the light went out on the way to the shop. Now it is back in there and she has been told the engine is seized. MORE TO FOLLOW!!

My son took his car to Eaton's and they performed a check and performed a little necessary maintenance before taking a cross country drive. They did only what was required and the cost was reasonable.nWhat really stands out is a second interaction I had with them. I called them over the phone a year later and asked if they could go through their records, find the receipt for the work done, and then mail it to me. And they did it! Promptly! Without getting compensation.nThey are good people that do good work and do what they say they will do.

These are good guys and gals. My experience is that they're competent and honest, their pricing is good, and their service is quick and professional. I've had my 96 chevy worked on by them, my 2012 Cruze and my 2001 Grand Prix. In every case they were able to diagnose the problem(s), suggest a fix, give me an estimate, and fix it. I've tried other repair shops in the St. Helens area, but I think Eaton's is the best.
