Visiting mom from Ohio. Grew up in this area, and I must say, there is nothing like a good NY/NJ diner! Valley Diner is no exception. Great service and great food! Please support your local 'mom and pop' owned and run restaurants during COVID!

They have outdoor dining! Family of four looking to enjoy an outing. Service and food was great. Clean tables and distant, felt safe.

Best diner in the area if you ask me.

PROS: This diner is a little more upscale than other diners. The quality of the food was better than usual, and the menu was a regular diner menu. The place had a nice layout and a wait staff who was very caring, nice, and knowledgeable about the menu. Some diners have a wait staff that act like they don't want to be there, but here, it was different. The vibe you get from these people were great. It was very clean and the owner even came over to greet us.nnCONS: Parking is terrible! You either get lucky enough to park on the street or you have to park in their cramp parking lot the size of a driveway.nnOVERALL: This is not a bad diner, one of the best actually. Besides the parking, the food and service was great and the atmosphere was a little more upscale. I do recommend!

Rude and aggressive service, kitchen burns eggs, coffee is watered down at 8 in the morning. Over priced for such sub or service and food. And if you aren't lacking in melanin, they will force you out quickly. This was a waste of time, money and effort. 2 stars, food was edible by barest legal definition.
