Birch Beauty Bar and Hair Studio

Birch Beauty Bar is simply the best. After having to leave my salon of 10 years in NYC I searched for years in the area for a great colorist and stylist. I finally found Birch and Laura is amazing! This is my new hair haven. I couldn’t be happier with the results :)

Simply Amazing! Laura was my stylist, and I couldn’t be happier with how my hair came out. She took the time to go over every step and explain what each different technique would do to make sure I got what I want and something I would be happy with.

I just gotta start off with the word “wow.” I’ve been dying to do something with my LONG virgin black hair but I was really nervous finding the right salon. Luckily I’ve been here before when they did my hair for my wedding. Although this time, after going through tons of reviews, I found that Laura, the owner, was highly recommended for bleaching hair.nnI met with her quickly for a quick consultation. I did it to show her how extra thick and long my hair is- so we can plan out how long the first session would be and rough pricing of course. She was very honest with me by telling me she’s unsure if she can get to the color I desire in one session because she wants to keep the integrity of my hair. After hearing her say that, I knew I was in good hands.nnMy first appointment with Laura felt like a breeze. She walked me through every process she was doing. I asked a lot of questions just for my own knowledge since this is so new to me. She was kind enough to answer them all! She was very attentive to me and kept making sure my hair was still silky soft. By the end of the day, my hair color wasn’t what it was supposed to be yet but I trusted the process! She told me she didn’t want to stress out my roots as they put a ton of bleach on my hair already. The color I left with wasn’t bad actually. I fell in love with it! Not to mention my hair was super soft still and felt as if the chemicals from the dye didn’t affect my hair at all! I left that day with a smile on my face thanks to Laura!nnMy final session was yesterday and this time Laura had a helper lol! I was so glad to see it since she definitely needed help with my hair haha. They started off with bleaching my roots after that they did the rest of my hair. The bleach ended up burning my scalp, but it’s okay it’ll get better soon lol. The hair washing is my favorite part omg. Mainly cause their shampoos and conditioners SMELL SOOO GOOD!!! It made me want to bring all their products home!! After all that, my hair came out beautifully! From jet black to a HEALTHY bleached sandy blonde!!nnLet me just say that this hair studio has the nicest and funniest team. They’re all like family and are willing to help each other out without any problems! It’s definitely a nice environment to be in! The music is perfect and again everyone is super nice here. I’m definitely going to be a regular and will refer all my friends and family here!! It’s nice to know that I finally found a salon that genuinely cares for their customers and especially their hair! Thank you to the Birch beauty team and especially Laura for taking care of my hair!!! You are awesome!
