Over the period of a month, I noticed large quantities of My hair falling out until all was gone. I was diagnosed with severe alopecia areata, an immune phenomenon where my body mistakenly attacked my own hair follicles. Unfortunately, my hair will never grow back. Whatever the reason for my alopecia, it changed the way I view myself, because the person I look at in the mirror, doesn’t quite look like the person I remember seeing. This affected my confidence and self-esteem, and lead to social anxiety and depression. Thankfully, I met Michael. Michael is the real deal. He helped me feel a little more like myself. I don’t know how he did it, but the first wig he picked out for me, was perfect for me. Michael and his team were so nice, and caring. Michael is personable. He treated my Mom and me like family. I highly recommend The Park Ridge Wig Center of River Vale!!
My wife and I took my mother to Michael's shop to see if a wig would be right for her. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. I had no idea what to expect as I've never experienced the process, but Michael and his team were beyond professional and made us feel like we were the only customers they have. They immediately brought out two wigs they felt would benefit my mom, and our first assumption was that they would be at the upper limit of her price range. In actuality, the wigs they chose to show her were about half the cost she told them she was willing to spend. They had no intention of up-selling for the sake of profit and made it clear that they wanted my mom to feel like herself when she looked in the mirror with the wig on. I was not particularly enthusiastic about going to a wig shop, but I am truly glad I did. I would recommend Michael and his team to anyone who requires a wig.
I was extremely surprised to read negative reviews about this establishment as I found it to be absolutely amazing. I visited with my mother who is about to start chemo, and we wanted to explore her options. To say the staff members/ management were warm, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable is an understatement. Every member of the team took the time to introduce themselves and we felt very comfortable from the moment we entered. They were professional and offered guidance and advice, but were not pushy at all and we didnt feel pressured to buy. They took the time to really listen to what my mother wanted, and made recommendations based on her wishes. Needless to say, she left with a beautiful wig that looks exactly like her natural hair, fitted and styled exactly as she wanted. And at a very reasonable price! Not only that, a complete aftercare package is offered, so you're not just sold a wig and shown the door! I was blown away by their hospitality and the whole experience. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who needs/ wants a wig! Very impressed.
Best wig place that I even been to. They work with most insurance companies. Michael is very knowledgeable. He can recommend you best wig for you. They sell both synthetic and human hair wigs. They have a big selection of wigs. You can also have your wig custom made for you. They also wash and style wigs.
What a great experience today we had shopping for a wig! All of the staff made us feel very welcome and they worked tirelessly to find the perfect wig!
