Blockhouse #2
Reviews
Kenneth Krompinger (10/07/2019)
Two of the War of 1812 Blockhouses (#2 and #3) were located on the hillside of today's Morningside Park. #4 was up high on the rock, precipitously overlooking the corner of W 123rd and Amsterdam, until both high rock and any remains of blockhouse were displaced with construction of PS 36. All three blockhouses are long gone, so move along, nothing to see here.
