Children's Home Montessori School

I have gone to this school and it help boost my learning a great amount. I was there at a young and it truly improve the way I learn. I have excellent critical thinking skills which I developed at that school. I have great memories from there and it truly is an amazing place. From what I recall, everyday during recess, when the weather was nice, we went to the local park which is less than a block away. It was nice to not spend all day in a building. I truly recommend this school to any parent looking for the their child to hone their academic skills.

Yesterday was graduation and sadly our last day at the school. We can say that for most of the parents seated it was emotional, a day of reflection and flashbacks of our children in the last 5 to 6 years and in a way our graduation too. Right from the get go in pre-school our children were challenged and taken out of their comfort zone and the progress just after the first year was amazing. Core values of patriotism, discipline, honesty, integrity, self respect, respect for your teachers, parents, peers, friends, family and all things living is instilled. It is academically challenging and you have to be an involved parent, be patient and be impartial. It’s been an incredible journey and we are so thankful to the all teachers and Mrs Dellepiane for being a part of our children’s learning journey.

Children's Home Montessori School/Maria Montessori Academy was an absolutely wonderful experience for my two girls. My oldest attended the school for 5 years and my youngest for 3. The education they received during their time there was exceptional and superior. Unfortunately, we moved from the area last year but I am so grateful they had such a strong start.nI think the truly special thing about the school is the kindness and compassion that is demonstrated in every aspect of the school day. Older children help younger children, instilling a sense of responsibility and ownership from early on. Appreciation and respect for one another and for the world around them..... these are all things that are just as important to the school as the academic curriculum. In the world we live in today it is really nice to see a school leading by example, with students that are intelligent, self confident, kind, compassionate, empathetic and loving; true leaders of our future. All of this I attribute to Mrs. Dellepiane, the head of the school, and the amazing teachers who work there. I am so thankful to them for giving my daughters such a nurturing, positive foundation to grow from. Life lessons that will be a part of them always.

Exceptional in so many levels on how as a community the school continues grow strong. The admission's process follows all Ivy League guidelines including admission's documentation, a student classroom visit and parents' interview to be reviewed by the admission's committee. Parents' approve this process. Excellence throughout the academic curriculum, student body and elite faculty. As an IB candidate school the school continues it's journey towards high level academic Global recognition. Bravo, I am proud to have been a student here!

I am a alumnus of this magnificent school and currently a freshman Pre-Med student at college. I owe this school who I am today as student and as a human being. All my teachers taught me that being kind and compassionate were essential attributes in life. I became a critical thinker and problem solver through out the 9 years I attended Children's Home Montessori School but most importantly, I still consider myself a Montessori child. Forever grateful.
