Amazing cuts and service is top of the line. Elson, hes my boy. Given me a military discount since the moment he found out I was a veteran. Only raised price 1 time in the three times prices changed.
Elson is the best barber that has ever cut my hair. He is a true professional when discussing what will go well with my hair type and keeps it real so that I know the full story and reasons before we get started. He gives great haircuts. Make sure you book your appointments , because his schedule is busy.
Got a cut from Steve. Don’t get me wrong, he is a great barber and knows his craft which is why I’m giving this review 2 stars versus 1. However, I came in asking for a mid-skin fade and to clean up the top (I specifically said that I was happy with the length, just wanted it to be cleaned up to look neat). Left the shop nearly bald and with my whole top cut off. I look like a pineapple, and I’ve never been so upset after a haircut. Going to be wearing a hat until this grows back. It didn’t help that he was checking his phone every 5 minutes because he was in the middle of texting someone - super unprofessional in my book.
If you are looking for one of the best cuts you will ever get, check out The Social Barber and Supply! The barbors are real experts, especially Steve Sanchez. If you live in NYC it's definitely worth the trip over to Jersey to worth with real barbers you can trust.
