This pharmacy is SO incredibly difficult to deal with (and my experience dates back to pre-Covid). I wish they never changed from RiteAid.nnThe pharmacy assistants are super nice and help as much as they can. Never had an issues with the pharmacists either, except for one. More often than not, she’s rude, uncaring and unhelpful (as if I’m bothering her). She’s probably understaffed, overworked and overwhelmed so I let it go.nnDoesn’t matter if I’m paying out of pocket or going through insurance, if it’s a new Rx or a refill that I’ve been getting from this location for several consecutive months, there’s ALWAYS a problem. Sometimes I have to wait days until they sort it out on their end. I can’t even imagine if I was in desperate need of medication right away (I know better so in those cases I go to Jay’s Pharmacy down the street - never a problem there).nnFew times I’ve gotten a text from Walgreens that my Rx / refill is ready for pick up but when I get there I’m told it’s not ready (after waiting 10+ minutes in line) to then have to wait another 20-30 minutes because they “have others ahead of me” (even though I show them the text).nnI finally moved all my Rx’s to another pharmacy because filling new and refilling the same prescriptions each month shouldn’t be such a hassle.

I walked in to the Oradell Walgreens this morning around 8:30 AM. I was greeted by associate Sandy. I pointed down to my ankle, which I had sprained the previous day and it was very painful and swollen. I asked Sandy if there’s anyone that could help me find what I need for my sprained ankle so I don’t have to do too much walking around the store. She asked me what I needed and told me to stay where I was. After only a couple of minutes she came back over to me with not only the two items that I needed, but a selection so I would have a choice of which would work better for me. I’ve been in retail for almost 40 years And it is rare to Experience such fantastic customer service. Sandy certainly went above and beyond for me and I am sure to return to this location. The people at both the pharmacy and registers have always been courteous and helpful.

The pharmacy is incompetent.!!!!!! Nothing is on time, constant problems with going through insurance, always a line . Switching to Shop Rite or Jay,s
