The owner Doug is amazing and the staff is great. Local spot that gives back to the community. And their Cafe is Awesome. You don’t have to be a member to get a really good cup of coffee or latte. The decor is modern and sleek. This gym is HUGE you don’t realize it until you’re in there. Super clean.

Staff is very friendly, and it is a lot bigger than it appears to be. Friendly atmosphere, safe and well maintained.nI also had a great experience doing their theralight therapy, feeling great after it and excited for my next appointment. I highly recommend you try it.

Merry Christmas from the Odyssey Athletic Center! Your rates get a raise of almost 30%. When you go to cancel the $74.99 monthly charge they write you that the new rate is less than $2.50 a day as if you can't figure the number of days and daily rate. Sad to leave been a member 10 years but not worth the money now.nGood luck!

I have been going to Odyssey since I was 14 years old (21 now), I would recommend this gym to anyone. I love the way the gym isn’t always packed and the way the machines and equipment are spaced out in a convenient way. I had switched gyms once at around 16 years old but never felt as comfortable as Odyssey was so I switched back. The staff is also very nice and even though I don’t use the personal trainers when I see them working with clients, the clients are always smiling and working hard. There is also a couple racquetball courts that many members use in a friendly/competitive manner. You can also set up volleyball and play. They have half a basketball court and a turf room that are both very nice. I have seen many of the same members at the gym for many years now and I can see why many people choose to stay at this gym. Once you walk in the environment is awesome, all in all I would highly recommend this gym to anyone.

HIGHLY recommend this gym! The staff are all welcoming, nice and helpful! Everything is kept extremely clean, and there is a huge space ! The gym is never too overly crowded, because it is such a large gym, with multiples of most equipment ! They have a huge weight area, raquetball, a wide-variety of classes, and a turf area for functional training, which is open to ANYONE. It is also close to Ramapo College for any students looking for an off-campus gym. I have tried out many gyms in the Bergen area, and this is by far my favorite, definitely check it out !
