Vivac Winery - Santa Fe Tasting Room

We brought some food and also purchased some brie and crackers. Arrived right before sunset. It was beautiful! Some delicious reds with pleasant nose and finish. Especially liked the red blend.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Vivac tasting room that we randomly passed walking the Santa Fe Farmer's Market. For a $5 tasting, you can try four wines. We tried a few of the reds: Sangiovese, Cab Franc, Italian Blend of Sangiovese and Nebbiolo and the Syrah. The wines were all pretty good...mostly dry..aiming for more old world feel vs. new world feel? Our server Bryan was super friendly and VERY VERY knowledgeable about Santa Fe offering numerous activities for us to do. Too bad we were leaving that day but we are def coming back and hope to visit the Vivac winery!

Delicious wine, served by enthusiastic, knowledgeable wine Specialist, Rose. A best kept secret--great wine in New Mexico. I travel for a living, spending a majority of time in Europe. This was a delightful find, a fun experience!
