Luigis Famous Pizza

I am a local and Luigis has been a tried and true. My family and I always ordered from luigi's because it has been our favorite pizza place for years. Unfortunately the last time we ordered pizza the quality had significantly gone down. We ordered a half white and half pepperoni pizza. Luigis is known for their thin crisp crust and their amazing sauce. There was something seriously off with the taste of the sauce along with the crust. The white pizza had chunks of garlic in it which was very off putting. Then the pepperoni side had too much sauce and cheese, which made everything soggy. It was honestly the worst pizza we had ever had. I am so sad that my once favorite pizza place has now gotten to this point. I am scared to go back and order because I don't want to be disappointed again.

This is our first time to Jersey shore and we found Luigis famous pizza and absolutely fell in love with the food!. The service has been amazing as well. We did no contact delivery and I forgot to add stuff to the order and I called and they brought it in my next order. Amazing!

We've LOVED Luigi's for YEARS! Some time ago, we noticed the many items we loved went DOWNHILL big time. Sauces were watered down -- lacking the consistency & chunks of tomato -- & the spices were totally unbalanced -- too much garlic one time, too much oregano the next. The meatballs my son loved went from nearly grandma's to what my son said tasted like dog food. The pizza we recently got was soggy, the cheese only covered the middle, the veggies seemed to be thrown on last minute, along with the spices, because they were clearly raw. There was a bunch of oregano on one side, too much garlic on the other, the veggies were obviously raw & not put into the oven to bake/blend everything. We've been disappointed for so long, we thought it was time to say something. Is there anyone else out there who's noticed the decline?
