I came here with my grandma to help her get a new car. It was a great experience and the salesman Chris Greco made it so much easier to understand the entire process. He was polite and answered even the most mundane questions with a positive attitude. I would recommend anyone interested in buying a car to go through him to do so.

I read the reviews and was surprised that there were so many negative ones, however the newer reviews are better. Maybe they changed managers? Maybe they realized customer service is important...who knows, but I had a good experience here. Speaking to sales only, I just purchased my 1st Subaru and shopped around first and Lester Glenn dealership was the only one willing to work on price. They were friendly and I wasn't ignored upon walking into the dealership as so many dealerships now do. My sales lady Heather was very friendly and helpful, and Jennifer who followed up with my plates was great too. I only hope my positive experience with them lasts the life of my car's purchase!

A horrible experience and huge waste of time. This place is exactly why people dread going to a car dealership. Of course the sales people here are friendly. They are trying to separate you from your money.nnWe found a car we liked, and we did some negotiating on the price. The sales manager wrote down his lowest out the door price for the vehicle on his business card and told us to think about it and give him a call. After thinking about it over lunch, we decided that we were willing to stretch our budget for this car. We went back a couple of hours later and agreed on Lester Glenn's price. Done deal. Cool, we just bought a car! We started filling out the paperwork, and gave them the title, registration and keys to our old car.nnAbout 45 minutes into the paperwork process, over comes the sales manager that wrote down the agreed upon price for me on his business card and fist bumped me (covid handshake) when I said we'd do the deal. He now claimed he made a mistake and the best he could do on the car he already sold me was $2,500 more than the already agreed upon price. We immediately walked away pretty angry at what we feel was a pretty disgusting sales tactic.nnI'm sure they will respond to this review by saying it was a mistake, and mistakes happen. However, if you value your customers, you should be honoring your prices. Maybe I should have stayed and argued that they ought to honor the deal, even if it was a mistake, but who wants to do business with this type of operation?? Not me, and probably not the rest of my family from Toms River and Seaside who have been going here for years and recommended the place to me.nnZero Stars. Stay Away.

Where do I start? Was it Jesse who contacted me when I filled out an inquiry form on-line earlier last week? Or was it Emily who put up with my copious phone calls and patiently answered all my questions? Or was it Ron who paired me with Andrew, a fantastic salesperson who in no way pressured me and was patient answering all my questions? Or was it Brian who handled all of my purchase paperwork and explained everything without talking down to me?nnI know! It was EVERYONE! I knew I needed a new vehicle right away as my 2007 Jeep Liberty died on me last Wednesday and sadly wasn't worth fixing. The funny thing is that I new I wanted a Subaru a while ago and only started looking about a week ago. Kismet? I think not.nnWhen I knew that I needed a new vehicle right away, I immediately went to Lester Glenn's website to see what my options were. I knew I wanted a Forester and I found the perfect vehicle! She was a 2020 Certified Pre-Owned Forester with only 3,200 miles on her - barely broken in! Plus she had ALL the features I wanted!!nnShe had been there a while and according to the website had quite a few views. I knew I had to pounce quick. That Friday evening I test drove her then sat with Andrew to work out the purchase deal. Mind you, the dealership closes at 9pm, but all parties involved stayed until the very last t was crossed and I was dotted.nnI drove off if the lot in my brand new Subaru at 10:30 that night!nnThe entire staff were wonderful! Their customer service is top shelf! I knew I didn't want to go to the dealership where I bought my Liberty from as over the past few years I've been far from underwhelmed by them. So very glad I made the move to Lester Glenn!nnI believe they have a customer for life! If you're thinking about going there for a new or used vehicle, run, don't walk to Lester Glenn Subaru!! ud83dude01

Just went with my father to purchase a new Subaru Forester. The best experience I ever had in buying a car. My father and I have purchased many cars over the years. Seth Leifer and Jamie Palazzo were amazing to work with. No haggle at all. They gave us the best offer right off the bat. My father and I couldn't agree fast enough. Everyone was so kind. Highly recommend going there anytime you need a Subaru
