Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis

there were 16 players we brought to play Tee boxes need work ! Fairways were soft and wet! the back nine I love it! The layout is nice greens were better except number 18 greens some slow... pace of play pretty good. people that work there were great! Friendly! Would play there again!

Disappointing. Please read on. Played Friday of Labor day weekend. Easy to make a tee time. Not expensive. Starter and ranger were nice guys. Checkin was fine. However, course not in great shape. Fairways and Tees could do with some attention. Well, a lot of attention actually. Greens too! Cart with beverages came around once (hot day). When we finished, we asked where the cart guy had disappeared to? He finishes at 2pm! (Bank holiday weekend!). So then we hoped for a beer and food at the Bar Grill. Nope. Closes at 4pm. Only open 11am to 4pm! (Holiday weekend). Course needs some commercial thinking, maybe new management? Course has potential.

Course is great and definitely deserves 5 stars but the lady who works the pro shop was the most rude person I have ever met! She was nasty to me and my brother in law for no reason at all like she just hates her job. If she is so miserable she should just quit! I have heard horror stories of this lady but still gave the course a chance and this lady lived up to her miserable/ horrific customer service. I will definitely be back because of the course but I hope they can correct this miserable staff member’s attitude.

Golf course is a Fazio course. Great layout. Greens tend to be slower, trees overgrown to fairway. Service is good for most part but not what you expect if used to excellent private course service. I stopped going because they would not let me just walk on without a tee time and wait in my car if someone did not show......so I joined Vineyard National and glad I did. More money but top service.

Always willing to travel extra mileage to play a great course. Great shape
