Local Smoke BBQ @ Jax Garage

First time in seaside location pulled pork sandwich was delicious but dry, I should've poured one of their home made bbq sauces on the sandwich before bringing it home. Will remember for next time.

We picked up an order for Paul this evening. The BBQ brisket and pork were delicious! We really enjoyed all the sides and cornbread! We will definitely be back for more.

Great food!! I would give it five stars but this location seems closed in the winter months

We were starving and had the menu from this bbq joint so decided to call and order from the road so we could pick it up. I ordered a brisket sandwich and they asked me what sides I wanted...comes with sides. I ordered 2 hot dogs they asked what sides I wanted, comes with sides, and I ordered a burger, he asked if I wanted the smokehouse burger or plain grilled, I said plain grilled. I got there it was late I was tired so when she said it was $35.00 I figured some of the prices were a little higher then on the printed menu..i gave her $40 told her to keep the change...ran out the door. Once home I took out 2 hot dogs and a brisket sandwich and sides...no burger. Oh no! I was starving...so I looked at the receipt. They charged me $10 for each hot dog even though the menu said $5 each. They charged me for a brisket combo even though I only asked for the sandwich, they said it came with sides what they meant was I'm charging you $5 extra for everything...the burger wasn't even on the bill. We tried to call but the lady puts you on hold for 10 mins so we hung up. I threw the coleslaw away it was inedible. They get 2 stars today because the $10 hot dog was delicious. Sigh.

Food was good, but service was terrible. We waited outside in the rain for our food for 20 minutes past the time it was supposed to be ready. The employees did not even acknowledge us upon arrival and were very rude. Our food was sitting on the counter ready to go in bags, but we were told they had to catch up on their orders before they started handing it out. Did not make any sense.
