Food was cold, wait took over an hour. Staff is nice but they are understaffed

Clean and simple omelettes and delicious pancakes. They go light on the toppings, which is rare. Karen was our server and she did a great job despite them all being incredibly busy. They do a ton of takeout due to covid, and the tables were full the whole time we were there. It did take quite a while for the food to come out, however she kept the drinks coming and kept us informed.nnOnly downer was the hostess. She seemed quite miserable and not very engaging. Not the end of the world, but it was out of step with the servers who were all going above and beyond.nnI imagine weekends are packed, I'll try to avoid peak hours, but we'll be back.
