The Oven Restaurant & Pizza

Very disappointed to see that tables were not being cleaned in between parties. One of the waitresses spent more time dancing without a mask than actually working. I questioned the waitress about the lack of cleaning of the tables and she apologized and said that they were understaffed and very busy. I watched parties being seated without the tables being cleaned. It was very unsettling. The wait to order our food, have it served and get the check was a two hour ordeal for a personal pie, sandwich and a salad. I would not have expected this on a Tuesday evening. The food was decent, but the service and lack of sanitation was disappointing. Tables must be cleaned before the next party sits down!

Very tasty pizza reminds me of my old neighborhood pizza joint in North Bergen NJ about 45 years ago.

Regrettable meal. Chicken served with the Chicken Francaise was definitely past it’s expiration date...Eggplant Parm was the thinnest I’ve ever seen and tasted like nothing, Pena Vodka tasted like jar sauce, not homemade... not worth nearly $80 at all. How can you serve someone rotten chicken? Luckily, they refunded us for the chicken, but they did not sound concerned or surprised when we complained, which was disturbing.

I ordered dinner from there tonight..basic roast beef with provolone with extra vinegar and onions only..sandwich was delivered and it was completely wrong..I called and just stayed what happened and they wanted to deliver another sandwich...I said no not a big deal just make sure that when a person orders something the cooks get it right. I was hungry around 10 so I went there and ordered chicken soup and a tuna sandwich with just onions..I come back to the room and low and behold the sandwich is completely wrong..I called and said that this is the second time in one day that this happened I told them that the person who makes sandwiches needs to pay attention and I also mentioned that 3 of the workers there didn't have masks on..I will never step foot in that restaurant again. Twice I spent money on food that I couldn't eat.

For $32 I got the driest chicken parm pizza in all of jersey and an order of under cooked mozzarella sticks and they forgot the extra cup a sauce with the delivery
