Sand Castle Diner

This was my first visit to the Sandcastle diner but it lives up to its reputation as a really friendly diner with great food.nnMy sister and I ate outdoors since the weather was nice. Our server was very friendly and happy to explain the menu when I had questions.nnThe kitchen was very fast and my sister's Reuben and my Tuna Melt were both delicious.nnI definitely need to stop back, now that I am the area on a regular basis. I love a good diner! They are so much a part of New Jersey! ud83dude0b❤

Used to love coming here when I was younger. Came in today for the first time in about a year and boy I was disappointed. Food was not cooked right. Ordered a hamburger well done and it was about medium rare. Sent it back and the second try was about a medium and I just ate about half and took the other half home to microwave it because I didn’t want to be a problem.nOther than the food, I was quite annoyed at the comment a waitress made. There were two tables outside for their outside dining. The heater was turned off to the tent outside because there was previously nobody seated outside. Their waitress walked by with another waitress where I was seated inside, and she made the comment “Let them freeze” because she couldn’t figure out how to turn the heater back on, wish I found quite distasteful.nIt is conveniently located, as I live in Beachwood, but I do not think I will be coming back here again, which I find unfortunate, because I’d much rather support small local businesses, especially during these times.

Been going to the Sandcastle for over 20 yrs. Great owner & servers too. Haven't had a meal in all that time I didn't like. Cooks are the best!

Great diner, spot on diner food and atmosphere. Everyone is always so welcoming and knows who you are after a few times even when they’re extremely busy. They make sure to sit you around the same spot so you get the same waitress who knows you! Can’t beat that.

I love breakfast at this place! Enjoyed the outdoor dining set-up they have going right now during the pandemic.
