Brookville Campgrounds

We went camping here for one night invited to a birthday celebration. Although the office's lady isn't friendly, the view and the premises are totally worth it. It has a playground, a pool, it has restrooms (very clean by the way) and it has a space for picnic as well. Totally recommended!

Camp ground is not taken care of and we had to spend 5 hours cleaning our site out. Also, owner does not like kids. Be aware: DOES NOT REMEMBER PAYMENTS and will try and get as much money as she can out of you right after you just paid her. She chased my friends and family down five minutes after they just paid her.

Beautiful location but absolutely horrible owner. Loses your check...or you pay her cash and she conveniently 'forgets' you paid her. Accuses you of ripping her off when she cannot keep her payment records straight...can't do basic math. Confronts campers on a daily basis about...fill in the blank____. In the last two months, several campers have hooked up and pulled out rather than deal with her. She is confrontational (and usually she is wrong) and plain crazy. Beware.

The owner of this establishment was needlessly aggressive and adversarial. I was confronted several times over a weekend trip where she rudely demanded which site I was staying at. Even the RV owners with long term sites complain how awful she is. There are lots of beautiful campsites in New Jersey; you're better off at literally any other. Skip this negativity.

So done with this place and the owner. She is unkind and rude. All she cares about is herself. She gets drunk a lot . She will not listen. She calls you names and yells at you in front of everyone in the campground. They all know your business but not the real truth just what she wants them to know about you. She has lost many seasonal patrons over the last few years.
