I can't say that this law firm was necessarily in the wrong, but, they're certainly not interested in setting terms that work for both parties. I was dumb enough to buy a condo residing in the Tanasbrook HOA whose fees were outrageous at $200/month. Couldn't afford to keep that up and pay on a loan I had to take out to cover a special assessment for dry rot repair in all the condos. My part? Couple grand for - wait for it - 2-3 pieces of siding to be replaced and painted. Anyway, I fell behind on the HOA dues and this places idea of a repayment plan was for me to pay them $400/month for however long. I asked for a term that was significantly lower so that I could afford to pay it each month, they wouldn't budge. I get that Tanasbrook HOA was your client and I was the debtor, but seriously, you get that you don't get paid if the person you're collecting from doesn't have the money to do so, right? Anyway, I went through bankruptcy back in 2006, your stuff was part of it, you're all terrible people, here's to wishing you a less than prosperous future.
