This was my first visit to Skinner's Automotive. They performed state inspection and emissions testing on my 2011 F150, and also did a courtesy multi-point vehicle check, providing a very thorough report. The owner, John, and the service writer (whose names escapes me) were extremely professional and friendly. I will definitely be a repeat customer and highly recommend them.

Beware of overpriced parts? I appreciate the communication and friendlies of John and Melissa. We've had our cars serviced there three times. The most recent service left me scratching my head. The vehicle needed a new alternator, belt, and belt tensioner. What puzzled me was the belt tensioner, cost $200 MORE than the alternator itself. I checked with them to make sure they had the right price, and they did. Once I got home, I looked up the OEM dealership price for that exact part, and it was $281 dollars less than what I was charged. I was disappointed with the pricing since everything else was done well.
