My father keep his seaplane here when I was growing up in Delaware County. He taught me to fly. Loved being in the air with him. He was a Navy fighter pilot in WWII. Fond memories spending Saturday with dad.

This is the oldest existing Seaplane base in PA if not the whole of the USA. From 1918 unti 1920 it was US ARMY Signal Corps Aviation Division base Chandler Field and it is the last surviving WW 1 station of its kind
