Playa Bowls

Started out very impressive! Unfortunately, there has been a decline in the amount and quality. Previously the bowls were filled to the top. The fruit would literally fall out when I removed the lid. However in recent visits I’ve seen a decline in amount, quality and was given blank stares when I brought it up. My husband and I are “registered” playa bowl costumers and have spent over $250.00 in orders (glassboro) since July. Not counting O.C.N.J playa location and purchases! The last purchase I made was on-line for 2 coco craze bowls. I ordered a substitute, bananas for strawberries and added a note for clarity. Upon arrival I found I was charged for extra/adding strawberries. I also found little to NO mangos, a scant amount of coconut flakes and brown bananas. When I asked about the incorrect order the employee said, “yeah that’s all we have, our mangos aren’t ripe so...yeah...we don’t have anymore.” I said “if you don’t have ripe mangos you should let the costumer know and perhaps offer another fruit?” I also brought up the extra charge for adding/extra strawberries. The employee implied I must have ordered incorrectly. I showed the employee my order on-line. It was clear and correct I did not make a mistake. There were many customers at this time waiting for pick up and to place an order. I took it as another loss at playa bowl.nAnother time we ordered a 16oz. Aloha shake. It wasn’t made well at all! My daughter wasn’t able to drink it through the straw provided. It was to chunky not made correctly. I had to re-blend the shake when we got home.nI know some may say, then why go back? Well, they are delicious and my kids love them. I hope my review helps playa bowl get back on track when creating their bowls. If not we will not be returning customers. Despite how delicious. Cutting corners, won’t cut it for us!

I got the Tide Banana Bowl, I added PB for some flavor that I love. The bowl was fantastic. Will be going back in a couple days.

The Coco Craze bowl was amazing!!! I got My son To try one and is hooked now..

Great service, substitutions were able to be made, & the smoothie bowl tasted great!
