I came in with severely damaged cabinet doors. Was hoping they would be able to make them look the way they use to. I was greeting with a friendly, kind and caring person, Tracy. She and her husband own this business. They clearly take pride in their work, which was exceptional, and genuine care about their customers. I have worked with Furniture Medic in a professional capacity for the last 6 years and have been wowed by their dedication to their customer's happiness.nnRecently I had them take on a couple of personal projects that meant the world to me, one of which was this water damaged and heavily worn set of table and chairs. It is hard to believe that this is the same table that they picked up.nnI also ask them to take on the restoration of a hope chest that is an antique family heirloom that had the lid water damaged by a moving company. I was reluctant to do anything with the piece for fear that it would lose it's antique charm. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they helped this piece retain it's charm, yet restore the wood's natural brilliance. The perfect touch was applied to this piece! My rental property had a small kitchen fire where a few of the cabinets were heavily damaged. Furniture Medic were very helpful and professional in walking me through the insurance claim. Tracey and Andy are a great team. They both have great creative directive and are good problem solvers, as the kitchen was funky. The cabinets doors /drawers were replaced, the cabinet frames repainted and hardware replaced. They completed the project on time, within budget and it looks fantastic...really like a brand new kitchen!

I had an antique table that needed to be refinished and I had procrastinated this for many years. Always thinking that I would do it myself. Furniture medic took the table and got the huge white water stain out of. The split in the wood is gone. And the new finish is great. While still keeping the antique beauty of this piece.

Called for power recliner repair. They DO NOT repair recliners and could not recommend a service in all of Portland.
