The red eyed crab

I love the atmosphere here, I love the people and the experience. I had a bad experience with my food and service last week and hope they correct the issue because this place was awesome. I had the filet with a side of fries and cucumber salad. My date had the crab imperial with pasta. Her dish was delicious. My steak was over cooked and my fries were limp and over salted. Our server was very nice but not attentive. Again, I love this place and hope it was a one time miss but it frustrated me at the time.

Ate at The Red Eyed Crab yesterday. Everything was delicious and made to order. My girlfriend and I dine out often and I must say if you want a REAL seafood experience, this is the place to go. No fancy decor just delicious seafood at a reasonable price. I would be willing to bet everything is made in house. We will be back. Certainly worth an hour and a half drive.

First time there and quite impressed! The venue is nicely done and the seating spaced out to conform to covid rules. Extensive menu selections and specials. We had crab bisque chowder, fried oysters, snowcrab cakes and a delicious salad. Servers were knowledgeable, efficient and polite. Well worth a trip back!

Very impressed everything tasted very fresh and wasn't heavily breaded but very lightly battered. All the sides were very tasty as well and was very surprised on the collard greens were very tasty. The star of the show was the crab cake.

saw Red Eye Crab mentioned on FB so i thought i would leave crazy Cape May and give it a shot. it was worth the drive to part of NJ you normally don't see. it was worth the trip. the food and service was great. took a couple of ice cold beers and sat outside. had an oyster app and fried oyster main course. both were really good. if you opt to sit outside, take some bug stuff because the green heads like to eat there too.
