Real disappointed. I was quoted $20 per cylinder to re-key my house and when the technician arrived he said it would be $50 for each cylinder!! I called the his boss who told me to call back Monday and hung up. The technician was polite and very sorry for the price difference. But that doesn't change the fact that this company was unprofessional and misleading. We all wasted time!

Locked my self out of car. Called advantage and they showed up within 30, very pleased with that.nFriendly service and had my door open in 3 minutes.nThere lies the issue. $118?nWill definitely call around next time for cheaper alternative. $118 is ridiculous.

Aaron is the man! Our business is in Pearl District and have been for almost 18 years now. We decided it was time to add new security locks to our doors to help protect our employees and patients. They installed our lock with no issues and it’s been nothing but a smooth transition. A couple of times late in the evening, I contacted Aaron directly and he was able to assist me with ease on a code change that I needed help with. Very professional and responsive. Pricing? Aaron, is he the owner of the company? With such professionalism and courtesy I couldn't tell either way if he is not someone needs to give him a raise. I was currently broken into and he has made me feel as safe as a button after he re keyed all my lock holes. Thanks aaron! Your the best !

Don't Bother, here is why... I don't usually review the places I go, but here is one to avoid. I had purchased a Schlage keyed entry handle from Amazon, I brought it to Advantage, after I was unable to re-key the lock myself. when I dropped it off at their shop, I fully admitted to what I had done. The counter person took the handle in, and my info, and said he would call back when it was done. The next day I called to check status. They said they didn't have any record of me at their shop. The handle was lost. A manager called me back in about 10 minutes, and said the handle was found and it was done. I arrived to pick it up the charge was $17, I was quoted $20. I tried the lock while sitting in my car. It felt all wrong. half the time the key didn't turn, when it did it was smooth, but it wasn't right. I took it back to the counter person who was loading up a truck now. he showed me that it worked, said that it was badly damaged and I should put WD-40 in it, and it will be fine. I took it home lubed it up, and it still worked like garbage. I estimate that it worked about 50% of the time. I was done with Advantage at that moment.nI found another locksmith, and I brought the lock there. They were able to fix it while I waited. 30 min to repair it. The cause of the malfunction was a missing tumbler spring. They charged me $9 to repair the lock. Clearly a locksmith worth his salt should have been able to fix this the first time. As for Advantage; I will never go back. Don't ask me to remove this review, because I won't. You messed up in so many ways.
