Pompeo's Restaurant

One of the best Wildwood Boardwalk restaurants to go to for breakfast, quality tasty food, very generous portions, very friendly staff, the table was cleaned diligently, reasonably priced, awesome warm butter syrup for pancakes, waffles and French toast. Tried several places for breakfast but this one was outstanding, totally recommend. Will sure come back when in the area.

This is the best breakfast on the island hands down! The food is amazing and so tasty. We had Brynn as a server and she was super nice and amazing! Best server in there. The Busboy cleaned the table the best I have ever seen in my entire life! Under the new owner, Pompeos has taken the breakfast game to the next level. I can’t wait to come back for more!!

Pompeo’s is a breakfast beacon seated just atop the northernmost end of the Wildwood boardwalk.nnHere you will find the gastronomic delights of Chef Richard, a true master of presentation and pairings. His heavenly specials were what really caressed me in and kept me coming back. It was here that I enjoyed the three greatest breakfasts of my life. I had waffles on my first visit and on my second and last I made a fatal error. I chose to try a french toast special so wonderful it made me want to buy a house next door. Each time I was here my food came to me faster than even was able the steam from my coffee. Never have I been served a meal so quickly...ALL THREE TIMES! To see what is pictured here brought out before you in such a short period of time can only be described in terms of feeling as absolute fulfillment! Truly extraordinary! Then the flavors: a carnival of taste more pleasing to the palate than even Morey’s Piers to the vacationing traveler.nnSuch was the pleasure of my meal at Pompeo’s on my first day trip this summer that by the third trip I had taken after Labor Day I made a mental recognition of the outdoor sign signaling me that I would once again have one of the most enjoyable meals of my life! Pavlov’s dogs never salivated so much!nnThe service at Pompeo’s is phenomenal! The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful and will extend the highest of courtesies possible. Brian, thank you for running a length of the boardwalk to bring me my water bottle carrier that I left behind! If you are lucky enough to be served by Richard’s beautiful mother you’re in for a real treasure. She will spare no detail of the beauty and history in Pompeo’s itself. But don’t take her word for it. Chef Richard is not far away and so happy to share with you in your delights. I talked my two jovial hosts to death and still they had taken such joy in my satisfaction.nnWhether you’re just a pass through shoobie like me or a local resident, allow yourself the pleasure of the “Best Breakfast On Boardwalk”. Went here today for the first time for breakfast with my family. The food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was spotless and the service was exceptional. Will definitely be back!!!!

Best breakfast on the boardwalk for sure! Chipped beef was the best I’ve ever and French toast and waffles were a family favorite! Service was above and beyond- thank you Brian! Definitely check it out if your in WW!!!
