I don't know how they continue to do it, but A&LP has had the best food for as long as I can remember. My grandmother used to order pepperoni stromboli for us when we were kids and would stay over her house on 1st avenue in the 90s. She passed on, but 20 years later, I bite into the same stromboli and it's just nostalgia. It tastes the same and brings back great memories. Love the quality and history this place has for me.

I must admit. They have changed. Food is skimpier. Used to be plentiful. But I guess u change with the times. Still OK. But Quantity has changed. What can I say.

First time here. Waited awhile when there was no other customers. Good food

I love their cheesesteak hoagie and the best french fries on the island. Try it and you'll see what I mean.
