Claire is the best hairdresser I've ever had.
Robin has been amazing and does a fabulous job every time my daughters and I go to see her. We have all types of hair - straight, wavy and curly and we all step out looking amazing! She's fun and cool to talk to too!
Kellie Ross is the Boss! Highly recommended!
I recently had my hair done by Kellie Ross, a stylist who owns a studio here. She was only able to finish about half of it and charged me $500. She is incredibly slow and charges by the hour. It took her 6 hours to do half of my hair. She gave me a time estimate at the beginning of 5 hours which she obviously exceeded. I have no idea how much it would have cost me to sit there for many more hours to let her finish but at the rate she was going I couldn’t let her finish. I expressed my concern at my appointment and was met with hostility. And I reached out to her after my appointment to try to come to some resolve with her. She did not feel that she had done anything wrong by not communicating that she would be unable to do my hair within a reasonable time and budget, or by not sticking to her original estimate. The service I wanted done was to have my roots lightened and hair toned grey. I do have several inches of regrowth but after I expressed concern she started calling the service a “corrective color” which it was not. I’m extremely unsatisfied and she refuses to work with me to make it right. I would avoid her at all costs.
MALVA Is basically a cluster of studios for beauty industry professionals. The woman I see here does my hair. Cut and color. Her name is Claire and I love her. Claire has been doing my hair since I moved to Portand 10 years ago. She recently joined MALVA and I love the new set up. Check her out!!
