La Doña Restaurante Mexicano

Absolutely loved this place! What a fun ambience and was very clean and airy too. The table-side guac was simply fantastic!! Verde enchilada was so flavorful. Tres leches was yumm!!! The only thing you need to be aware of is that they dont have too many veggie options, but whatever they have, is delicious! It’s BYO.

A real gem in Cape May, Washington Street Mall. We've been dozens of times in past few years..never disappointed. Perhaps the best Mexican cuisine in South Jersey! All our friends we have taken there raved. In current social distancing environment, they offer outside dining. BYOB with liquor store nearby. We chose to do pick up this time, but it was a tremendous feast - enjoyed immensely. Do yourself a favor and check this wonderful hidden treasure of Cape May out!

Avoid at all costs! Honestly, any other restaurant in Cape May will serve you better food with better service. The owner is incredibly rude and does not have the slightest idea on how to run a restaurant. The food has little to no flavor. They turn up the music extremely loud to get you to leave and rush you out the door. Apparently, they are unable to split the check with two cards for a table of 6. We were told by one of the waitresses that they could, however the owner yelled out to us that it’s not possible. We understand mistakes happen, but honestly this review is solely based on her horrible attitude and unwillingness to welcome her patrons with respect. It’s not worth your time or money.

Cool spot off the strip, totally unexpected who thinks CapeMay and Mexican food? But it was awesome, manager Jonathan was the man food was outstanding (get the skirt steak!) Got seated right way. Would definitely go back, hibiscus lemonade was great. 10/10.

My wife & I ate fajitas with rice & beans and it was very good. My wife is Mexican so we're not easily fooled. Legit good food, and price was great. Good dinner experience. Definitely would come back next trip to Cape May!
