Oceanside Seafood

We're glad we found this spot while visiting Stone Harbor/Avalon. At 2 PM on a Saturday, there were only two tables taken, but the place probably seats 60-75 people. The food was great! Really great!! Excellent white clam chowder, very good topneck clams on the half shell, crab cake sandwich, broiled something. This may sound silly but the french fries are outstanding. They're different somehow, crispy, light, delicious. Rice and summer vegetables came on the side. The rest of the menu sounded good too. I almost got the grilled salmon green salad to go.nnTHE BAD NEWS: no steaks, all seafood; no beer or wine, but it is BYOB; they said there can be a wait to get in some nights; not cheap, our two person lunch was about $65, but we did get plenty of very good food.nnBONUS: The place is a small fish market too. They'll sell you by the pound fish and seafood. Decent selection, normal prices, they offer to cook that for you. You can buy tee shirts and other souvenirs too.nnThe food IS really good.n.

Bought fresh flounder and shrimp here. Absolutely amazing! Customer service was also fantastic!

Overpriced and over fried seafood. If your wondering why you’re able to get a table here during peak times it’s because people eat here once and never again

Me, my girlfriend and two of our friends went here for dinner. We went to a seafood place the night before and were not very pleased. We ended up getting lobster, and crab and it was phenomenal. No complaints at all. Food was very reasonably priced, and very competitive. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good seafood dinner
