I had the hot Corned beef open face sandwich with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. It came with fries. The fries were in the cool side, not hot at all but they were still tasty.
Is it Covid or something else? I bought a quart of their famous mushroom barley soup and other than the fact I was hungry, I would have thrown it out. It was emensely salty, had no broth just mushy barley, and what seemed to be a chicken broth base instead of the advertised beef broth base and a scant of mushrooms so not sure it should be called mushroom anything soup.nnWhat ever happened to the home cooked Jewish food in a Jewish Deli?
This restaurant offers superb service as well as delightful menu. The best place in town. The food and drinks served quickly and the prices were economical. Highly recommended.
The customer services was horrible, the cash register lady was rude from the time we spoke to the time we left. Asked for my burgers medium well done burger was pink and fries where over cooked. Spent 40 bucks to be treat like I was not welcomed never will go to the place again ,the pastry store lady was only Polite one there
Simply The Best! They have it all. Huge menu of fabulous food. Always hot and good. Everyone is warm and friendly . Like your sitting in your own home, but with more food. Truly a delight to go there. Who needs NY or Philly ? Short Hills Deli has it all and its delicious too!nn.
