I was so excited to order from Brother's Kitchen. The reviews I saw was all positive. Unfortunately that wasn't my experience. I ordered the Fried Chicken platter and the Barbecue Chicken platter. The fried chicken was crispy and look good on the outside but when I cut the chicken open it was blood red on the inside. The mac-n-cheese was definitely not soul food ready. Very dissatisfied. The cornbread was doughy and the greens was just as bad. The Barbecue chicken had plenty of sauce but uncooked. Extremely disappointing.
First time ordering with my husband and son and although it was a boy of a wait it was WORTH EVERY BIT OF IT!! Delicious, tasty, cooked through, mouth watering flavors and the fried fish and chicken fried to perfection!!! Wait!! The potato salad and greens were a hot!!! First but Not the last I promise you!!!
I’ve been to Brother’s at least 10 times since the start of Quarantine this year and they’ve been kind & exceeded my expectations every single time I’ve been. The food is great, reasonable & seasoned well and the portions are hearty. I will continue to support & spreading the word about them.
The first time I went it was good. But the second time I went it was not so good plus they messed up on of my orders. I had ask for onion rings and when I got home they had given me French fries. I guess they have different cooks.
Just finished my fall off the bone rib platter and IT WAS FANTASTIC! BBQ sauce was SO yummy. The baked mac and candied yams were plentiful and tasty, and sweet potato pie was on point. Let me tell you, the corn bread IS PERFECT. We enjoyed it all!!! Thank you, for sure will return soon!
