Giant Fitness

I had a similar situation as Mike G posted below. I am very disgusted with how things are handled at this Giant Fitness Center. My contract was past the year and was going monthly. Again could not get a hold of anyone to cancel membership, then when finally open was told to come and or send a letter to cancel membership. I thank GOD sent a certified letter and still had to wait 2 months to hopefully stop withdrawing money from my account. i am going to fight it going through my bank but will definitely not sign up using my bank account info in the future.

Joined a year ago. The the pandemic around March(they did not charge during this time period). My wife and I tried calling to cancel our memberships for 3 months,but no one answered,mailbox was full. When they finally opened ( 2wks ago) they start charging the yearly membership s without giving any formal notice or grace period. They had our emails,phone numbers and address to formally give any members the option to opt out or continue membership. Then when you cancel they give you this excuse about the 60 day notice to cancel.... but they were closed!!!! No one answered for you to cancel,no courtesy emails to give you the option to cancel or continue. So now you have to go on their website to contact the owner to see if he would wave the $250 early cancellation feeud83dude21. We the public also suffered losses,they're is no reason why we should be charged for their inability to properly contact customer via any means possible. This is not a way to retain customers or gain new ones. Very disappointed in this establishment.

The place is really clean and the staff are nice

Go there regularly as it's close to home and the equipment variety is satisfactory and the gym well kept and clean. The late hours are much appreciated for getting access after personal work hours and dinner hours. At the time of posting this the only requests would be to extend late hours on weekends and more squat cages and ones with adjustable spotter bars as the ones with fixed spotter arms are too high for some people I know to complete a full range of motion.

This is definitely a good gym for lifting and cardio, but it's not as clean as the Mt. Ephraim gym. I have no problem working out here, but the fifth star has to go to one of their other locations.
