The ChopHouse

My husband and I decided to make reservations for our fifth wedding anniversary here. We had an amazing time! Our waiter Raymond was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. His service was great. Our food was delicious from starters to desert. We had an amazing view of the water on a perfect fall night. We will definitely be back & refer friends and family. So happy with how our anniversary dinner was thanks to Chop House

This was our first real night out since the world ended in March. We sat outside and it was so nice, we had such a great experience. Our server was attentive and so great with our daughter. The drinks were delicious and our dinner was outstanding. Our daughter even stole the plate of fudge cake away from us she loved it so much. It was a great night out!

We had dinner (4 of us) at the Chop House Saturday Evening, 9-26-2020. I give the Chop House barely 3 stars only because the server, Dawn, did a wonderful job, very attentive and entertaining as well. That's where it stopped. My steak was terrible, Kansas City Bone in NY strip. The meat was so rubbery, and filled with gristle. My wife's filet was way over done. (Medium was very well done) Our guests had the same comments, but unfortunately we did not complain, we should have.nnI did , however, complain when our server, while decanting our $180 dollar bottle of wine, chipped the rim of the decanter sending glass over my food and into my lap. I found the largest piece and matched it back to the decanter, however, was real leery about finishing the rest of my meal anticipating eating glass. No biggie, the steak was lousy anyway. That's okay, as a consolation, they removed the cost of a baked potato (really stepped up on that one)nnWe had not been to the Chop House in over a year, typically go to the Capital Grill, but thought we would give the Chop House another try, never again! Sorry Chop House, the previous times we were there it was great, not this time.

Just spent a great time with work friends. Restaurant was clean, deck was perfect, with a nice breeze off the water. Manloi our waiter was awesome. He knew the menu answered questions,was fabulous with his silent service. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back again.

Was very good, we had a long day and a few kids with us. The space where our table was was very big, everyone very spaced. The view tho, you have to go to see it. We were overwhelming for the waiter I'm sure but everything was correct and brought out at the right time. Will be back!
