I called to see if this place was wheelchair accessible and the person that answer the phone on 11/12/2020 at 12:19pm was very rude and if he didn’t say his name so fast I would post it here. His customer service needs a lot of work!!!! His demeanor has turned me away from wanting to visit with my children. My disabled son is in love with fire trucks and I thought this would be perfect for our day out. To my surprise I was wrong and now I have to figure out how to make up a missed opportunity for him. Hopefully I can revisit this idea of visiting in the future but for now I am completely turned off.

Great history of the Philadelphia Fire Department from Ben Franklin to modern day. Great for kids of all ages

Fireman's Hall Museum is an excellent place for the history of the Philadelphia Fire Department, located in the Heart of the Old City Neighborhood in Center City Philadelphia, (The Downtown). Self guided tour. Staff is really nice, any questions they will answer. If you want collectibles they have a great gift ship my favorite is the patch collection.nThe part that caught my eye was a little display of 9/11.nThank You PFD, GOD Bless!

Really awesome, great history lesson. There is a ton of stuff to look at and read about. Although it's free it's worth donating when you visit. My favorite part was a story about Ben Franklin dropping a hot coal on his steps and waking up to a house fire and having to jump out a window.
