One of the oldest residential areas in the country. Very cool, and people still live there! That Having been said- it's not something you're gonna spend the day on, or a few hours, but easily a good hour of your time will give you enough of the feel. Although, if you really love photography-which I do not - you could probably spend hours here getting all the really fine details of the architecture and the old style living arrangements. You really shouldn't miss it, but don't plan your day around it!

Amazing historical experience. Captured the real feel of the olden days. Brought me back to the colonial days. A must see experience if you like American history.

This is unique piece of American history, and if you are wandering through Old City or waiting for a scheduled tour at Independence Hall, it is totally worth 20 minutes of your time.nnBut I grew up 15 minutes across the river and never saw it until I was 39 years old, and in no way do I feel deprived. It is worth a small part of a larger trip, but it isn't anything I feel the need to revisit.

Really beautiful, historical way of retaining the past in its most original form.

Its great to see how well these 300 year old homes are preserved. They are so beautiful and still inhabited. The review that said there is nothing to do there, probably doesn’t appreciate the beauty of stepping in a place where you can go back in time, in a city that is filled with history
