Very kind,helpful and very intelligent when it has to do with there history,there religion,and just helpful in anyway to visitors and patrons...the rabbi,going lady and gentleman greeted us like family..I would definitely visit again and bring my family...thank you for everything,c u soon...

Interesting. Nice space. 18th century history. Established through an assisting 5 British pound donation from Benjamin Franklin. Hosted a meeting of the Philadelphia Religious Leaders' Council today.
The Rabbi is very personable and the congregation very welcoming. The Seder was well run and explained very well. The building is well kept and the Synagogue has a long and rich history in the Philadelphia area going back to 1740. I felt very comfortable here.
One of the most heart warming Shabbat service away from home indeed. Such a beautiful synagogue with a nice historical background.
