Prescription Chicken

I do not normally provide reviews, but I feel compelled. I have eagerly anticipated giving Perscription Chicken a try after seeing it the few times I have been at the Bourse. I am wildly underwhelmed by this soup. Its really disappointing.... 1. for the amount of money paid, the container this came in was not very full... and oddly I paid more to have no chicken than it appears to provide with chicken. 2. the Challah bread was hard as a rock and 3. the overall taste of the soup was quite bland. Respectfully, it tasted more like the water the noodles were cooked in rather than the broth. I had 2 carrots in the entire bowl, and maybe a handful of celery pieces. I do not recommend ordering from this retaurant.

I was brought a takeout bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup (not sure if it's titled differently on the menu) and it was absolutely what I needed. Better quality than other options such as Whole Foods, and truly was a homemade soup. Great chunks of chicken throughout. Helping me get through my cold!

I like the broth and matzo balls, though it could use some more seasoning and maybe some lemon in my opinion, the challah bread to dip is super yummy. I get it without chicken though because the chicken is consistently dry and chewy.

I have no idea how this business survives. This place is mismanaged and the food is not fresh or special in any way. You are better off tying any number of the other restaurants in this market hall.

Got soup as the Rx for winter cold season. The Philly and the Hangover were wonderful, good quality chicken and flavorful broth, though watch out because the spicy flavor may surprise you. Price was a little high but definitely hit the spot!
