My 13yo and I had a blast jumping off the rocks here. There are many large rocks along the bank with deep waters below, and varying heights from just a few feet to maybe 40 or 50 feet. I can see how drunk teenagers (there were several there) and weak swimmers could potentially hurt themselves or die. But, for those who adhere to some semblance of safety, it seems like a fairly safe and fun adventure. Make sure you see deep dark water below before you jump. I would also highly recommend you don't attempt diving hands/face first like I've seen a few people do. A broken ankle is much better than a broken neck. There are undertow warnings posted, and other reviews have mentioned a strong current. Honestly, it did not seem that strong to me, at least along the stretch of river where people swim. I did not see a single person struggling against the current. I'm giving it 5 stars, despite a fair amount of trash and graffiti and rowdy teenagers with no sense of social distancing. The trash is mostly beer cans and left behind shirts, towels, etc. At least you don't have to worry about stepping on used needles like many of the parks in the city.

Great swimming rock jumping and people watching.nTrails on both sides of the river are nice use caution on the S. side of the river trail due to numerous camps under the 205 bridge.

Great space today it was easy to remain distant from others, I can see how in the heat of the summer that would be more challenging. Great current, nice wide rocks for resting. Overpass was distracting, but for a first dip of the season, so great. And there's amenities (didn't use). I would return.

Great place to spend a hot day. But you better be a good swimmer because there is a current and the water is very deep. There is no lifeguards on duty. Also if you bring it pack it out.

Loved it. Its funny when you have friends to go with. Its a beautiful place. I would love to go there more often. But sadly I'm about to work full time. But I'll still always try to make time for high rocks because its so calming.
