Interesting pulloff, depicting ancient power generation. The industry around it makes it look like something they built around 1886...

The falls are nestled in amongst picturesque old style industrial well aged buildings and smoke stacks (like I know exactly what they are?).. The sheer volume of water is amazing coming from the falls ... It is a busier waterway for a Sunday. Not much wildlife besides the Canadian geese which navigate the boats w ease. Lots of amazing houses as well

Lots of history here. Portland General Electric has the first long distance transmission line in the US, starting here.nThe hydroelectric plant is clean and well kept.nNot sure its open to the public though...nGreat staff, knowledgable and friendly.nReally enjoyed the tour!
