I moved recently to the area and was looking to find a salon that works wit natural hair. My first trip to the salon was a new client consultation where we discussed my hair type, my hair issues, and my hair goals. She was very knowledgeable In her craft and recommended with better products to use on my hair since products I was using were too heavy for my hair and I scheduled an appointment for my hair cut. The only con that people would not like would be the hours of operation being 7pm to 7am but if it doesn’t work for you, you want to make sure you book your appointment for Saturday or Sunday as soon as possible because spots fill quickly.nnAlso buying products from her website would be more affordable and can save you a few dollars.
Will definitely be back again. She is knowledgeable, talented and passionate about what she does. She really listens to what your looking to achieve and educates you on what will work and what's best for the health of your hair. I love how my knotless box braids turned out.
My experience at Curl Comfort Zone Natural Hair Studio & Beauty Supply was great!! Upon arrival I was greeted by name which was very welcoming. The salon is beautiful, clean, and inviting. Now getting into the actual consultation appointment..it was lovely as well. I was asked about the products I currently use and then given tips, knowledge, and advise about product choice. Ms. Clareesa used her hands and really examined and felt my hair to make sure she was getting a good impression of it, and I appreciated that. I felt like she really cared about discovering and analyzing my hair. She then tested my porosity and educated me on how that impacts my hair care routine. After the hands on analysis, Ms. Clareesa sat down with me and discussed her initial impression of my hair and her intended plans for it. We went on to talk for about twenty minutes. She is very personable and easy to speak to. All around good vibes. I felt like the salon was just for me while was there. I know it's not just for me but I felt seen and heard while there and it made me feel special. I left feeling refreshed with a plan of action for my hair going forward. I highly recommend scheduling a consultation appointment!!
I took my daughter for a counsulation today with Reese for braids. She was very knowledgable and friendly. It was a calm and relaxed atmosphere and Reese went above and beyound to answer all my questions. It was an educationol experience for myself as well. My daugther and I learned all about the various types of hair textures and what products and styles will work best for her. I will be taking my daughter here from now on . Highly recommended. I had my hair consultation with Reese & when I tell you I was overly impressed!! I don’t know a whole bunch about hair, but I do like to try to educate myself on correct methods & different styles. Reese was such a knowledgeable gem! She taught me about my hair porosity (even tested it) & about my curl pattern (which I’ve clearly been wrong about). We talked about what styles I want to try, which gave me the security she was looking to be working in my hair for a while. I really liked that! So I could look forward to my next style & even the ones after! I have been so picky trying to find a truly naturally curly hair salon to cater to the curls AND the protective styles! We booked my hair appointment that day (@ 7pm!) & I am so excited to chill, girl chat with Reese & watch movies while my hair comes out looking bomb ud83dude0a
