Gold Star Park

City did a wonderful job creating a play space in Gold Star. Retains it's old character, but with substantially upgraded structures. Neighborhood has lots of smaller children, 0-5 range, and playground is well suited for them. That said our 7 and 10 year old have enjoyed it as well. Caution, there are peak times where playground can be quite crowded. Overwhelmingly, parents and kids are masked and mindful of others.

This park's name is a bit deceiving.... the park has so much potential, but in it's current state is honestly a pretty sorry excuse for a park. It only has one small play set despite being a large park. This park would be good for kids to run around and play catch, but it's not really great as far as a structured play set goes (no swings, just play set in the middle of the park with a slide). I would recommend going to another park.

It's come a very long way from years ago when it was a filthy dirty park.. now they even have movie nights once in once in a very great while they should do that more often

Always a good walk in the neighborhood with my dog.

Not a bad park a lot of grass. not the most friendly people go here especially if you're not from the immediate area and houses around it.
