I had such a wonderful experience yesterday getting my hair cut by Louis. He was so kind and affirming throughout the whole process and the cut I got really is beautiful and makes me feel good about myself. I will absolutely go back again.
I spent close to $600 here and just feel disappointedand frustrated. I asked for a specific look, with photos, and was told it would take several visits. I came a second time and it seemed like my hairstylist didn't remember me or what I wanted. I ended up spending hours here for a subtle change in color (brunette to blonde). Won't be back.
Great experience having my first haircut since Covid. They were socially distanced and I felt safe there. The AC wasn't working and it was an extremely hot day out but they made the best of it and everyone kept their spirits high. My hair looks great - and if you're like me and don't have cash they let you Venmo your tip to them!
My first experience here was on 6/25 and I walked in absolutely terrified because I knew that I was going to be cutting essentially all of my hair off. I would say that more than 2/3 had fallen out. But upon meeting Louis, he instantly put me at ease. He had complete control and cut me down to a super spunky, almost punkish look that was about an inch and a half long at most. It was a shock to the system, but every single person in Bauhaus that I interacted with could not have been more positive. Louis was hands down the most positive. He wouldn't let me leave without my head held high and a smile on my face. My cut has absolutely grown on me (pun intended) and I couldn't be more grateful to Louis and the rest of the staff.
The man who cut my hair did not listen to anything I asked for. It took months for my hair to grow back in to be cut how I wanted. The front desk was not friendly. The price did not reflect the service. I would not recommend this salon.
