People aren't wearing mask, and that made me leave.
Kate & Al's pizza..to die for!
I used to go there years ago on a very regular basis to sell odds and ends. First time I've been back in perhaps 15 years. Big changes. The market is vastly larger. I was annoyed by the lack of signs directing people to restrooms. Signage could have been better for parking and exiting. This is an extremely large flea market with hundreds of vendors and tables. However my favorite part was Kate and Al's pizzeria in the main building. Best pizza I have ever eaten and nothing has changed over many years.
The market is indoors until summer is here. Nice market with multiple stores and various options. The first time we came was for food and neither place we chose disappointed. There’s a chicken and fries place that is cash only, so always have cash if that’s what you’re in the mood for.nnIn the summer I love all the additional vendors that come out! I do recommend staying away from the honey booth as it wasn’t pure honey as stated. Food trucks, multiple clothing vendors, and I was able to purchase my sons canvases for his room for dirt cheap (again cash only).
What's not to love? Was already in love with all the Amish goods, then 3 weeks ago I discovered the huge plant nursery where I found the most unique and awesome pumpkins and planters. Then the fried chicken spot located inside the market, I tasted the best fried chicken I've ever had other than mom's of course. Columbus is the place to go. Plus all the outside vendors that come to offer their specialty items and unique finds. Its just fun to put on my good walking shoes, grab my shopping bag, coffee cup and spend the day.
