Brendan T. Byrne State Forest

Vegetation is mostly pine trees. The bogs had water lilies.

Really nice state park. We had an outdoor picnic near the lake. The area is VERY well maintained. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a state park.nnWe did a short but lovely hike around the lake.nnHighly recommend.

In between road trips we go to Brenden Byrne State Forest to do some dry camping. It is a fun change of pace and there is plenty of room to go biking and hiking. It's usually very peaceful and the price is right. I believe it's open all year as well. We always have a good time

Camped out here over the weekend and had a great time. 3 lakes nearby, one being right on the campsites and other two 10 minutes away. Has bathroom and showers (free) as well as firewood. Wawa and a gas station nearby as well as a liqour store (not allowed to drink at campsites but its there). Lots of nice trails as well. Also blueberry fields! Campsites have concrete slabs for tent setups and firepits.

One of my favorite places on earth. So peaceful. So beautiful.
