Angelo's Pizza

I go there once in a while for lunch while at work. The food is very good. I normally get pizza. Each slice is more like two normal slices. It is very good. I have have cheese steaks also which were great. They have lunch specials. No inside dining, but you can go in to order.

Terrible customer service. The staff was very rude on the phone. It sounds like a bunch of kids work there that don’t want to go out of their way to make a customer happy with a small request. I was rudely hung up on when trying to place an order for takeout. Sad to say that was the first time I ever tried to place an order from this restaurant. I live down the street. I could have been a loyal customer but I will not be ordering from Angelo’s ever again. Having a good staff is probably one of the most important parts of owning a restaurant. Every time I drive past this place I’ll think of how rude the staff was. Also, too bad the driver could have made a nice tip only to drive down the street.

Due to the unreasonable nature of this experience, I am posting the following account, which was described to me by my close friend as follows:nn“We ordered three pizzas from Angelo’s at the beginning of the pandemic, which wasn’t uncommon since we ordered from them quite frequently. Honestly, my son loves their pizza, so when it finally arrived, and it was wrong, I thought he was going to lose his mind because he was so hungry. We brought the pizzas in and saw they were not what we ordered. Even though it was not what we ordered, we asked our son to eat a slice in the meantime while we contacted the restaurant to rectify the mistake.nn“My husband called to inform them that they sent us the wrong pizza order. The girl said, ‘hold on,’ and she told us to ‘leave the three pizzas outside so that [we] can come to pick them up and send out new pies.’nn“We were relatively surprised that they would want to pick up the pies after they had been in our house during the pandemic, but nevertheless, we were ok with it and told her our son ate a slice from one of the pies because he was so hungry. She said, ‘oh ok, hold on’ (like she had to see what to do about that) and said: ‘ok, leave the pizzas outside still.’ She never apologized for the wrong order and treated us like we were trying to steal pizza, so I wrote a letter to Angelo’s explaining that given the situation and how much we order from them, it was very disheartening to see how their employee handled us. Also, I was taken aback to know that after having pizzas in our house during a pandemic, which would have effectively “contaminated” them, they wanted to pick them up and bring them back to their restaurant. I guess they didn’t like that because when I called today to place an order, they said we were ‘blacklisted.’”nnNow, after hearing this from my friend, I thought it would be a disservice not to use this platform to inform other customers about how this establishment handles complaints. Frankly, I find it not only unacceptable but disgusting that Angelo’s would “blacklist” a loyal customer over a single complaint due to a mix up on their end. I’m hoping this review enlightens other customers about the “risks of being blacklisted” when they complain about an incorrect order to Angelo’s.nnThis truly portrays not only the incompetence of the leadership at this establishment but the inability to grow and recognize errors in one’s business. It’s fascinating that the owner, or whoever blacklisted this family for that matter, genuinely thought an appropriate response to such a complaint should be to escalate it to “blacklist this address immediately,” and it makes one wonder the mentality of the individuals running this place.nnIn essence, this situation invariably speaks for itself, and I would recommend going to a more superior competitor that has the mental capacity to understand that when a customer doesn’t receive their order, the restaurant should probably send them their correct order and apologize, as opposed to banning them from your establishment.

Easily the best pizza in the area and I am definitely picky when it comes to finding a place I like. Highly recommend the grandma pie and cheestesteak eggrolls! Delivery is always ahead of schedule as well and they've been receptive to changes we've had to make last minute. Anytime we've ordered we've been very happy with the result, happy to support these guys and won't be looking elsewhere for our pizza fix!

i love the buffalo sauce here, & the pizza is great all the time! the white pizza is amazing & always fast at pickup. as someone who really does not like pizza aside from new york, this is an exception, i love it. this place is a definite recommend!
