I apologize to Red Rock Ford as I thought I left 5 stars but after it being brought to my attention, I had left 4. I truly meant to give these guys 5 stars. Every time I go in there the service is fabulous, and I got a great vehicle there at a very good price. I highly recommend this business

Worst car buying experience I've ever seen . Avoid this place they will lie cheat and steal your hard earned money

Ones I placed a deposit it was pure hell for a month ! Put 1000 down as a deposit had to wait for them to fix some “small things” and put new tires on it . Took 3 weeks for them to put the wheels on as I waited I was told my sells rep is changing and everything that was agreed on was no longer going to happen even though I have it in writing the new rep knew nothing about the sale . When I finally heard back it was ready I was given a runaround and was treated very bad . I said I don’t want to do business and would like my money back they refused. The Better Business bureau should look in to these shady tactics .

I had a car towed to Red Rock Ford in Williston, ND for a diagnostic after my timing chained had jumped. They promised a call back the next day but I didn’t receive one for another 5 days. When the diagnostic came back they claimed the valves were bent because there was only 20-40psi per cylinder. They suggested a “long block” or a full engine rebuild as the best option for repair. They quoted me about $8750 for Labor & Parts. I didn’t want to spend that kind of money so I politely told them I would look into it myself. When I got the car back I still had to pay a “diagnostic labor charge” of about $168. The valve cover was still off, the bolts were placed on the windshield, backseat, & door pockets, all the spark plugs had been removed, the battery was dead, & the car wouldn’t shift into Neutral. I eventually got the car towed down to a local mechanic who removed the cylinder head & discovered NONE of the valves had actually been bent. The carbon build up on the pistons heads had never been touched so the valves never came close interfering with the piston heads. When the timing chain had slipped/jumped after one of the guides broke it caused the valves to stick open just enough to where it wouldn’t hold pressure. A new head gasket, head bolts, & a timing chain set was all that was needed for repair which came out to a total of about $175. After this whole incident with Red Rock it’s safe to say I’ll never be going back & I suggest others do the same. I do believe now that Red Rock Ford is a bunch of uneducated useless mechanics. VERY Unreliable & Untrustworthy!!!

I have had to have service on my vehicle a couple times but it's difficult for me to work the time out with my dialysis schedule and being from out of town. Melissa Gaston has always gone out of her way to make everything go smoothly and help me figure the schedule out and keeps me updated while my vehicle is there. I appreciate her service and friendliness very much .
