Chestnut Lake RV Campground

The pumping is never done on the date posted.nA dog park would be nice.nActivities for children should be done, need people that interact with kids..nShould be a time for adults to enjoy pool area without any kids, 9 to 11 pm when kids are sleeping.nPeople need to clean after there dogs.nI'm seasonal and I see a lot of Potential in this place if the right person worked and run the place correctly.

This place is terrible! Dont waste your time...nothing to do! Small...and the bugs are terrible couldn't even sit outside our camper. The people who work there are very nice but a big waste of time going. Grass was long around our camp site. The sites are very small and no trees!!! Will never go back.

We arrived at this campground for a week long stay. As soon as we arrived we were highly disappointed. Facilities were filthy. Spots were not shady and it literally looked like we were placed in the middle of a field. Our fire pit area had long overgrown grass all around it. The pictures we saw online were nothing like we saw in person. We actually called Thousand Trails and they were able to accommodate us so we could switch to another location.

We have been to plenty of Thousand Trails resorts and this is by far the worst. During this time of Covid-19, you would think cleanliness was a priority for management. We walked in to a filthy trailer. I am fully aware that we are at a campsite but the level of filth in this one was unacceptable. Peoples hair is the bathtub, dirt all over the floors and dirt and mold in the dish rack. The only reason it got a 2 star was location and customer service leading up to the trip. The entire site is run down and dated. If you are looking to visit the area, drive another 25 min and visit lake and shore or sea pines. Ill never return to this place.
